- Getting to know my students – their goals, strengths and areas for improvement.
- Skills focus – Geographers need to use a wide range of skills from interpreting resources, statistical analysis, critical thinking, cartography and more.
- Exam technique – understanding how to approach the questions and how your response will be assessed (with an experienced UK Examiner).
- Content knowledge – the building blocks of your understanding need to be strong.
- Essay writing – building your confidence with clear structures and appropriate content knowledge.
- Case Studies – keeping it real! Geography is happening – everyday, everywhere – let’s bring the real world into your learning! Lets also keep them concise and easy to learn!
- Interpreting and acting on feedback – So often you will receive feedback from your teachers – my job is to get to you understand, learn from and act on this effectively.
